Print and e-Billing specialist helps out with local farm’s fundraising activities

October 2011

Opus Trust Marketing has helped a local city farm in their target to raise over £1000 through designing and printing 400 calendars free of charge.

After spotting an article about the farm’s search for a company to help produce their 2012 calendar in local newspaper the Leicester Mercury, Opus Trust Marketing contacted Gorse Hill City Farm to offer their expertise.

More accustomed to producing customer and employee communications in the shape of bills, payslips and invoices, Opus Trust Marketing hope that the calendar will help Gorse Hill City Farm to continue providing the opportunity to enjoy a close-up experience of farmyard animals for those who might not otherwise have the opportunity.

Attracting more than 60,000 visitors every year, the farm, which charges £1 per child and £2 per adult visitor, brings lessons to life for a number of local school children every year and will use the  money raised by the calendar to continue offering local communities a great value for money farm experience.

The desktop calendar - which contains pictures taken from around the farm by Assistant Farm Manager Tom Chambers - includes vibrant and fun images of rare-breed sheep, goats, cattle and geese.

Anyone wishing to take home a copy of Gorse Hill City Farm’s 2012 calendar can buy a copy now from the farm shop which is open every day of the year from 10am until 4pm.
