OTM wins Northumbrian Water contract!
June 2009We’ve been successful in bidding for and winning the contract to provide transactional billing services to Northumbrian Water Limited (NWL).
NWL supplies water and sewerage services in the north east of England under the brand name Northumbrian Water and water services in the south east under the brand name Essex and Suffolk Water. They collectively serve around 4.3 million people and needed a partner to ensure that their documentation is accurately and cost effectively despatched to customers across the two catchment areas.
We were awarded the contract following a competitive tender process that completed during December. We were then given the challenge of developing a suite of applications and being up and ready for the despatch of NWL’s ‘business as usual’ documentation as well as annual billing services for February this year.
One specific area of importance to NWL during the process was a demonstration of the traceability and reconciliation of our data, documents and inserts through the whole print and mail process whilst driving out cost savings through process efficiencies.
Northumbrian Water adds another client to our growing utility portfolio.
