New appointment brings IT to the Boardroom

June 2008
OTM’s announcement that it has made an IT appointment at Board level underlines the importance of Information Technology to success in the transactional marketplace.

Kim Squires, who has been fulfilling an interim role as Head of IT has been appointed to the OTM Board as IT Director.

Linda Scott, CEO of OTM says: “Our customers continue to expect service integration and the delivery of solutions as opposed to mail pieces. Whilst the printed page is still fundamental to OTM’s offering, increasingly customers are keen to understand the breadth of the electronic services that OTM can provide. These solutions are unique to each customer’s needs and consequently the requests range from integration of diverse data streams to providing digital archives. In Kim, we’re delighted to have a Board member who can really drive this vital element of our business”.

Kim started his career in the print industry, taking a sabbatical to work in the IT industry with a variety of software and hardware vendors, fulfilling a number of roles from Development, through to Project and Programme Management across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Kim Squires says: “I’m delighted to be able to provide input at the most senior level within the organisation. For the remainder of this year and throughout 2009 we will be increasing OTM’s electronic service offerings, consolidating existing technologies and services where appropriate”.
