The Background
From the outset, a dedicated OTM team worked together with npower to facilitate the migration onto the OTM platform and successfully integrate operations, firstly by understanding all of the technical requirements then drawing up a comprehensive project plan and solution to over see the transfer of data. Today, OTM receives data from npower in a variety of formats, including pre-composed documents, EBCDIC files and ascii raw data, via a dedicated link.
This data is transmitted daily in the same day OTM print, envelope and despatch up to 200,000 items. OTM produces 50 million mail packs every year for npower, including customer bills, reminders, letters, payment cards and books, cheques and the overnight print and distribution of internal reports, helping to keep customers informed of new services and promotions according to criteria defined by npower
