The SolutionRecognising one of their biggest costs was the distribution of their books via parcel post, OTM were requested to investigate alternative distribution carriers. Working in conjunction with the client, the OTM Account Manager undertook an extensive review of the carrier market.

Further to the review the Account Manager was able to provide the client with statistical analysis showing the most competitive methods of dispatch. Using this analysis the client was able to reduce their distribution costs by 12.5% pa.

Contract improvement through investmentThe OTM outsourced service provided to the client was storage, pick, pack, books into outer mailing cartons for distribution by parcel post distribution. OTM recognised the requirement to support the clients stated growth plans by investing in and advanced packing line. Our investment to support this client enabled them to grow the business and improves client satisfaction.
